Position: Research Associate / Sr. Research Associate / Executive
Work Area: Analytical Research Division
Experience: 1-5 years (Freshers can also apply for Trainee position)
Qualification: M.Sc. Chemistry/ M. Pharma
Work Location: Bommasandra (API R&D)
Roles and Responsibilities: •Having good experience of method development on HPLC and GC instruments and other analytical instruments. •Having knowledge of wet analysis (KF – titrations, Non-aqueous titrations, potentiometric-titrations) •Good Knowledge and experience in method validation. •Good knowledge to conduct the forced degradation and mass balance studies. •Independently troubleshoot day to day analytical and instrumental issues. •Good knowledge about current regulatory guidelines. •Knowledge about monographs and general chapters (Ex: USP, Ph.Eur., IP, JP, BP. Etc.). •Knowledge in Preparation of standard test procedures/ validation protocols/Standard operating procedures. Work Area: Chemical Research Division
Experience: 0-7 years
Qualification: M.Sc. /Ph.D. in Chemistry (Organic Chemistry/Medicinal Chemistry/Industrial Chemistry)
Work Location: Bommasandra (API R&D)
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Candidate must have knowledge of the synthetic organic chemistry.
- Perform literature search for the identified API molecule with regard to its route of synthesis, polymorph and analytical methods.
- Perform experimental trials for feasibility/optimization for designed RoS for API molecule.
- Document the experiments in laboratory note book (LNB) and the corresponding analytical results in data folder.
- Design the RoS for synthesis of impurities, isolation/synthesis of impurities, reference standard.
- Follow safety requirements (self and work place) during the product development.
- Develop the non-infringing synthetic process based on literature and raw material availability and polymorph studies.
- Plan the day to day activities for team members for feasibility studies, optimization and Lab validation.
- Optimize the feasible route and develop amiable process for scale-up.
- Coordination with ARD team for analytical activities like method development, in-process, reference standards qualification.
- Perform lab validation and preparation of technology transfer documents.
- Plant support for trial & validation batches.
- Troubleshooting of plant concerns.
- Handle customer & regulatory queries in a timely manner.

Work Area: Intellectual Property Rights
Experience: 2-10 years
Qualification: M.Sc. (Chemistry), Ph.D. (Chemistry/ Medicinal Chemistry)

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Sound Knowledge of Organic Chemistry.
- Familiar with patents and non-patent literature search & knowledge of Scifinder, STN and various other free and
paid database searches.
- Familiar with the preparation of patent landscape reports of API across specific territories – USA, Europe, Canada,
Japan and ROW countries along with Emerging markets.
- Capable of providing the Freedom to Operate (FTO) /Infringement Analysis wrt API at different stages of product
development as per R&D work strategy (Initiation, development, exhibit, filing and launch).
- Analytical skill of patents for chemical processes.
- Capable of patent invalidation strategy.
- Basic knowledge of Patent laws of India, USA and Europe.
- Knowledge of Patent drafting and filing procedure in India, PCT and US/EP.
- Good communication skill and interpersonal
